Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Emergency Department nurse for night-shift coverage. You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED environment, managing acute and emergent conditions across all patient populations.
Schedule & Contract
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour)
- Hours: 48 per week (guaranteed)
- Contract Duration: 89 weeks
- Location: South Weymouth, MA
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- Current Massachusetts nursing license (required at submission)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must not expire within 30 days of start date)
Expectations
- Night shift availability
- Adherence to attendance policy; unscheduled absences must be made up to maintain guaranteed weekly hours
- Habitual call-outs may result in contract termination
What You'll Do
Work alongside a skilled ED team managing patients with acute injuries, illnesses, and emergencies. You'll perform assessments, administer treatments, coordinate care with physicians and specialists, and provide compassionate support during critical moments.
