OR RN – Surgical Services
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Operating Room RN to join its busy surgical services unit. This is a 13-week contract role with a 10-hour day shift, 4 days per week (7:00 AM – 3:00 PM). Guaranteed 40 hours weekly.
About the Unit
The surgical services unit is the main inpatient operating suite, staffed 24/7 and handling 28–55 cases daily. You'll support a diverse surgical program including orthopedic, neuro, urology, general, and thoracic procedures. The unit utilizes robotic-assisted surgery technology across select service lines.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent OR nursing experience
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- Ability to work designated major and minor holidays (details below)
Holiday Commitment
You must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 of 3 minor holidays (day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve).
