RN Oncology
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN Oncology for a day shift assignment in the oncology department. This is a 13-week contract role offering 40 guaranteed hours per week.
Schedule & Location
- Shift: 5 × 8-hour days
- Hours: 7:30 AM–4:00 PM or 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (varies)
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Lawrenceville, GA
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent oncology nursing experience
- AHA BLS (current)
- ACLS (current)
- Chemotherapy Certification (current)
- Must be proficient in chemotherapy administration
Clinical Responsibilities
You will provide direct patient care in the oncology setting, including chemotherapy administration, patient monitoring, symptom management, and supportive care for patients undergoing cancer treatment.
Holiday Expectations
- Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's Day
- Must work 1 minor holiday: Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve
