CVOR RN — 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week assignment in the cardiovascular operating room. You'll support straightforward cardiac cases including CABG, valve replacements (AVR, MVR), and thoracotomies in a focused surgical environment.
Schedule & Expectations
- Shift: 4 × 10-hour days
- Call: Required, 30-minute response time; rotated separately among RN staff
- Weekends: Every other weekend (EOW) call and work rotation
- Float: First to float to main OR as needed
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Cancellation Policy: Facility may cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment
Clinical Details
- Unit Configuration: 1 CVOR suite; approximately 2 cases per week
- Staffing: 2 circulators per case
- Patient Population: Elective and urgent cardiac surgery patients
- Scrubbing: Not required but welcome
- Orientation: 1 week or until comfortable
Requirements
- Current RN license (required to submit)
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Scrubs provided by the facility
