Medical-Surgical Nursing Position
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical-Surgical unit. You will deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards of care, supervise nursing staff activities, and coordinate care across disciplines. This role requires strong critical thinking, clinical judgment, and leadership skills.
Shift & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor
- AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification
- Minimum 2 years recent acute care nursing experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze patient assessment data; develop and implement individualized care plans
- Provide direct patient care and health education to patients and families
- Supervise and delegate tasks to nursing staff; coordinate interdisciplinary care
- Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
- Maintain a safe, healing environment and promote patient wellbeing
Organizational Requirements
