Pediatric Dietitian — Travel Contract | Los Angeles, CA

Shift: Days | 5x8-Hour (08:00–16:30)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: November 2026

This travel Dietitian role is embedded within a pediatric clinical setting serving a broad patient population — neonates, infants, children, and adolescents. You'll carry an approximate census of 8 patient visits per day, providing comprehensive nutritional support across a range of acuities and diagnoses.

Clinical Scope

• Nutrition assessments, reassessments, and Nutrition Focused Physical Exams (NFPE)
• Enteral nutrition management (tube feedings) and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
• Managing conditions including failure to thrive, refeeding syndrome, protein-calorie malnutrition, and nutrition therapy complications
• Therapeutic diet order development for pediatric and neonatal patients
• ICU and NICU experience is strongly preferred

Requirements

• Active RD or RDN credential
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric dietitian experience; ICU/NICU experience preferred
• Valid, permanent California license required at time of submission — no temporary or pending licenses accepted
• Two supervisory references from within the past 12 months required at submission
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions
• No weekend, float, or on-call obligations
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated — flexibility is essential

Additional Notes

• Up to 2 weeks of time off may be requested; none within the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Orientation is approximately 8 hours; compliance modules are required pre-start or during orientation
