Pediatric Dietitian | Travel Contract | Los Angeles, CA

Shift: Days, 5x8-hour shifts (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)

Contract Duration: 13 weeks

Start Date: November 16, 2026

This travel opportunity places a Registered Dietitian in a pediatric setting serving a diverse patient population ranging from neonates and infants to adolescents. You'll conduct approximately 8 patient visits per day, delivering comprehensive nutritional care across a range of acuity levels, including ICU and NICU patients.

Clinical Focus Areas:

• Nutrition assessments, reassessments, and Nutrition Focused Physical Exams (NFPE)
• Enteral nutrition management (tube feedings) and Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN)
• Therapeutic diet orders
• Failure to thrive and protein-calorie malnutrition
• Refeeding syndrome management
• Nutrition therapy complications

Schedule & Coverage:

• No weekend, float, or on-call requirements
• No scheduling requests can be accommodated — flexibility is expected
• No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment; maximum 2 weeks RTO for the contract

Requirements:

• Registered Dietitian (RD or RDN) credential — active and in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric dietitian experience; ICU/NICU experience strongly preferred
• Active, permanent California license required at time of submission — no pending or temporary licenses accepted
• Two supervisory references from within the past year required at submission
• Influenza vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
• COVID-19 vaccine not required
