Float Pool Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking experienced nurses for its float pool program. You'll rotate across multiple clinical areas, including the Emergency Department, ER hold, Medical-Surgical units, Telemetry, and Stepdown/PCU. This role offers variety and the opportunity to apply your skills across diverse patient populations and acuity levels.

Schedule & Expectations

• Shift: Night, 3×12-hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Duration: 14 weeks
• Weekend Commitment: Every other weekend required
• Call: None
• Flexibility: No block schedule requests. You must be willing to float within your scope of practice as assigned by daily staffing needs.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience (first-time travelers welcome)
• Current RN license (GA or Compact)
• ACLS and BLS certifications
• ICU experience required
• Proficiency with: arterial line management, BiPAP/CPAP, ventilator care, central line care, IV insertion, ETT/nasal suctioning, cardiac rhythm interpretation, and vasoactive/cardiac drip titration

Key Details

• Full compliance required before start; all onboarding documents due within 48 hours of contract signing
• Major holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) may fall within your assignment; holiday work expectations will be clarified at offer
• Maximum 7 days paid time off per contract (must finalize before submission)
