ICU Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced ICU nurse for a 20-week night shift assignment (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), working three 12-hour shifts per week. This is a high-acuity role caring for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical and surgical diagnoses.

Clinical Scope

You'll manage patients with conditions including ARDS, sepsis, acute stroke, STEMI, DKA, post-operative complications, cardiogenic shock, GI bleed, COPD exacerbation, encephalopathy, liver failure, drug overdose, and ESRD on CRRT. Daily census averages 19 patients across 24 rooms.

Required Qualifications

• Current RN license (Georgia or compact state)
• Minimum 2 years ICU experience (first-time travelers considered)
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (required before start)
• Strong skills in ventilator management, central line care, acute stroke protocols, CRRT/CVVHD, dysrhythmia interpretation, and post-cardiac/neurosurgery care

Schedule & Time Off

• Every other weekend required
• Maximum 7 days RTO per contract (finalize at submission; no requests post-offer or during orientation week)
• Holiday work expected per facility policy
