Emergency Observation & Behavioral Health RN
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Emergency RN for its Emergency Observation and Behavioral Health units. This is a day shift assignment in a high-volume regional referral center serving diverse patient populations.
Shift & Schedule
- Contract: Minimum 13 weeks
- Hours: 36–48 per week
- Weekend requirement: Minimum 4 weekend days per 6-week period
- Orientation: 24 hours
Clinical Scope
Float Requirements
You will float between Emergency Observation and Emergency Behavioral Health units based on daily needs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years nursing experience
- Current RN license (NC or compact; pending OK)
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC, MOAB
- Pre-start requirement: EKG certification
