Nuclear Medicine Technologist II
Position Overview
The facility's Imaging Department is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist II for a 13-week day shift contract. You'll operate and execute a full range of nuclear medicine procedures, including PET/CT imaging, with expert knowledge of equipment capabilities and radioactive materials handling.
Schedule & Location
- Shift: Day, 4×10 hours (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
- Location: Visalia, CA
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 9, 2026
- Float Required: Yes — you'll rotate between the nuclear medicine diagnostic center and hospital nuclear medicine department
- Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Required as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- CA Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of nuclear medicine experience
- State license in hand
Preferred Qualifications
- ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification
Key Responsibilities
- Perform order review and execute nuclear medicine procedures with proficiency
- Demonstrate advanced knowledge of nuclear medicine units and PET/CT systems
- Handle and maintain compliance with radioactive materials safety protocols
- Deliver high-quality patient care across multiple imaging modalities
- Support interdisciplinary team collaboration
