Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Riverside, CA

This 13-week contract places you in a high-volume Emergency Department on a day shift schedule (07:00–19:00), with a guaranteed 36 hours per week. The department manages a broad range of acuity levels with a fast-changing census, making adaptability essential to success in this role.

Shift & Schedule

• Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Weekend and on-call coverage as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience
• Active RN license

Required Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIHSS, CPI

Preferred Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced, high-acuity emergency setting
• Comfort with fluctuating patient census and acuity

Clinical Environment

The ED team is well-staffed across both shifts, with charge nurses, supervisors, and multi-disciplinary support. Candidates should be comfortable managing a varied patient population and adapting quickly to evolving priorities in a busy emergency setting.

Dress Code

• Navy scrubs required for RNs
• No visible tattoos
• Hair longer than shoulder length must be pulled back
• No gel or acrylic nails

Float to other areas as needed.
