Interventional Radiology & Cardiac Catheterization Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology and Cardiac Catheterization Technologist to join a trauma center. You'll work in a high-acuity interventional suite performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including catheter-based interventions, pacemaker implantations, and endovascular trauma cases.
Key Responsibilities
- Scrub and circulate in the interventional suite with knowledge of sterile catheter procedures
- Assist RNs in pre- and post-procedure areas as a second person (required)
- Support a Level II Trauma Center with call coverage
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience in Interventional Radiology or Cardiac Catheterization Lab
- Active California Radiology License and Fluoroscopy License
- ARRT certification
- Current BLS for Healthcare Providers
- Ability to live within 30 minutes of the facility
Preferred Experience
- Pacemaker implantation procedures
- Endovascular/catheter-based trauma interventions
Schedule & Contract
- 40 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
- One night per week on-call plus every other weekend
- Department closed on major holidays
- Orientation offered Mondays only
