L&D Traveler RN – Family Birth Place
Position Overview
Join the Family Birth Place team as an L&D RN providing comprehensive couplet care. You'll work in a busy labor & delivery unit that also covers OR, PACU, and postpartum care. The facility currently manages approximately 60 deliveries per month, with plans to increase staffing to accommodate 80+ deliveries soon.
Clinical Scope
- Care for babies from 32 weeks gestation and up
- Manage labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum phases
- Collaborate with an evidenced-based care team focused on excellent patient outcomes
- Requires RN Charge experience and strong team collaboration skills
Schedule & Contract
- 12-hour night shifts, rotating weekends
- Call rotation: typically one 12-hour shift every 6 weeks
- 13-week contract
- Start date: November 17, 2026
Requirements
- Current Colorado RN license or compact privilege to practice in Colorado
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
- NRP and STABLE certifications required
- Flu vaccination mandatory October 1 through April 1 (no declinations)
- RN Charge experience required

- Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
- Colorado CAPS registration required (allow up to two weeks)
