Emergency Room RN — Night Shift | Austin, TX | 13-Week Contract

This is a night-shift travel RN opportunity in a busy Emergency Department serving a diverse patient population across general ED, fast track, cardiac/trauma, and behavioral health areas.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Rotating weekends
• No on-call required

Clinical Scope

The ED manages a high volume and wide acuity range, including trauma assists, cardiac monitoring, behavioral health de-escalation, and resuscitation. Common procedures include splinting, EKGs, central line management, airway support, rapid infusion, and morganlens use. The unit operates across general ED, fast track, and dedicated behavioral health areas.

Required Certifications

• ACLS
• BLS
• ENPC
• TNCC
• NIHSS

Preferred Qualifications

• Trauma experience
• Inpatient holding experience
• CPI certification
