Endoscopy Technician – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility's endoscopy department is seeking a travel Endoscopy Technician for a 13-week assignment. You'll support a high-volume endoscopy suite performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures in a collaborative, provider-supportive environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Primary shift: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM (36 guaranteed hours/week)
- Call coverage: Weekday evenings/nights (5:30 PM–7:00 AM) and 24-hour weekend coverage
- Possible float to the main OR Sterile Processing Department during low-volume periods
Clinical Scope
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years hospital-based endoscopy experience
- Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER)
- BLS certification
- Strong proficiency with endoscope reprocessing, medivators, and leak testing
- Familiarity with Olympus endoscopes and general knowledge of colonoscopy, EGD, ERCP, and bronchoscopy procedures
