Interventional Radiology Tech

Position Overview

The facility's Interventional Radiology department is seeking an experienced IR Tech to join a collaborative team in an acute care setting. You'll support a high-volume IR service performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures across two suites.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 10-hour day shifts: Thursday–Sunday
• 40 hours guaranteed per week
• On-call commitment: One weekend per month plus one weekday night (30-minute response time, with some flexibility possible)
• No floating required
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Hospital-provided scrubs

Clinical Scope

You'll assist with a wide range of procedures including neuro-stroke interventions, body angiography, trauma cases, biopsies, and abscess drainage—averaging 12 cases per day.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years IR Tech experience
• Current ARRT certification
• BLS (AHA)
• Fluoroscopy certification
• California state license

Team & Environment

You'll work within a 4-person IR Tech team in a busy, procedure-driven environment. The team supports 2+ suites and uses hospital charting systems for documentation.

Cancellation Policy

The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment (3 shifts for assignments shorter than 13 weeks).
