Med/Surg Travel Nurse – Wichita, KS
This is a 13-week travel nursing contract on a Medical/Surgical unit in Wichita, KS, with a November 2025 start date.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 12-hour nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No on-call obligations
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week
Float Requirement
Candidates should be prepared to float to similar Med/Surg units on the same campus or to another campus within the Wichita area.

Required for Onboarding
- Color vision assessment
- EKG exam competency
- Core competency testing
- Point-of-care glucose testing proficiency
- Standard immunization documentation: MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, Influenza
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test
- Health statement
- Background check and drug screen (11-panel)
- Badge photo and valid government-issued ID
