Registered Nurse – Medical-Surgical/Telemetry
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its medical-surgical and telemetry units. You will deliver coordinated patient care, supervise assigned nursing staff, and work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.
Shift & Schedule
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- 36–48 hours per week
- 13-week contract
- Start date: November 22, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
- Assess patient data, develop individualized care plans, and evaluate progress
- Supervise and coordinate duties of healthcare team members
- Educate patients and families; participate in discharge planning
- Maintain a safe, healing environment
- Demonstrate strong telemetry and cardiac monitoring skills
Required Qualifications
- Current RN licensure in California
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- At least 2 years recent acute care experience
- Solid telemetry/cardiac monitoring experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
