Day Shift | Monday–Friday | 26-Week Contract
This breast imaging role is based in a dedicated diagnostic imaging environment with a strong focus on high-volume mammography and breast ultrasound services. The unit operates Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, with a contract guarantee of 72 hours biweekly.
Clinical Scope
- Screening and diagnostic mammography
- Mammography-guided procedures
- Upright stereotactic biopsy and prone table biopsy (strongly preferred)
- Breast ultrasound
Requirements
- ARRT certification (required)
- Massachusetts mammography certification (required)
- ARRT or ARDMS Breast Ultrasound / Breast Sonography certification (required)
- BLS – American Heart Association (required)
- 3–5 years of diagnostic breast imaging experience in an imaging center setting
- Minimum 1 year experience with a PACS image archive storage system
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing multiple competing tasks effectively
Contract Details
- Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
- Duration: 26 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 72 biweekly (on-call hours not included)
- Float: Not required
