Acute Adolescent Behavioral Health — Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a compassionate behavioral health professional for its acute adolescent unit. This is a night-only position working 12-hour shifts in a fast-paced, therapeutic environment focused on stabilization and crisis intervention.
Schedule & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (weekend-only)
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 2, 2026
Clinical Environment
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct behavioral observations and document patient status
- Administer medications and manage medication orders
- Support crisis intervention and therapeutic activities
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on treatment plans
- Float to other units as staffing needs require
Requirements
- Valid nursing license or relevant behavioral health certification (as required by state)
- Ability to work night shifts and weekend schedules
- Flexibility to float across units
- Experience with or willingness to learn paper charting systems
- Strong communication and de-escalation skills
