Respiratory Therapist — Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week night contract. You'll work 3x12-hour shifts (18:30–07:00), providing respiratory care to patients across multiple units and settings.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Active NBRC certification and BLS (both required at time of submission)
• Current Ohio RRT license
• Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director (from assignments within the past 12 months; co-worker references will not be accepted)

Scheduling & Expectations

• Weekend coverage as needed
• May float to other facilities as needed
• All requests for time off and scheduling needs must be communicated at submission and during your interview

Compliance Requirements

• Nicotine-free (this is a smoke-free facility — no exceptions)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen + nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start; updated annually
• Background check (no license hits accepted)
• BCI/FBI background prints must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
• Annual hands-on competency training may be required

Contract Details

• Start date: December 21, 2026
• 13-week guaranteed contract
• Extension options available (18-month maximum, followed by a 6-month break)
