NICU Registered Nurse — Night Shift | Asheville, NC
This is a 13-week travel contract in a Level III NICU unit located in Asheville, North Carolina. The unit provides advanced neonatal care for critically ill and premature infants, with a clinical team experienced in managing high-acuity cases across a range of patient ratios.
Shift Details
- Night shift: 18:45–07:15
- Every other weekend required
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
Clinical Scope
- Level III NICU environment managing premature and medically complex neonates
- Float requirement: Pediatrics, PICU, and Mother Baby (newborns only)
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Level III or higher NICU experience
- NRP certification required
- NIC-RNC preferred (candidates with this credential will be prioritized)
- Active RN license
Ideal Candidate
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-acuity neonatal environment
- Able to adapt across pediatric float areas as needed
Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs
