Progressive Care Unit (PCU) – Night Shift
Position Overview
Join the progressive care unit for a 13-week contract working nights. You'll provide care for step-down and monitored patients requiring close observation and intervention.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 × 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours/week (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
- Location Assignment: You'll know your working location before each shift begins
Responsibilities
- Manage PCU patients within your specialty scope
- Handle ED border patients as assigned
- Float between nearby facilities as needed (primary assignment at main location, within a 15-mile radius)
- Float within your specialty only
Requirements
- Current RN license (or applicable state credential)
- Must be willing to relocate; no local applicants (50-mile radius requirement)
- All time off must be submitted upfront
- Flexibility with floating assignments
What We're Looking For
Experienced PCU nurses comfortable with telemetry monitoring, post-acute care transitions, and patients requiring close hemodynamic or clinical surveillance. Strong communication skills and adaptability in a dynamic environment are essential.
