Mother Baby / Postpartum RN — Night Shift | Asheville, NC
This 13-week contract places you on a dedicated Mother Baby unit, caring for postpartum couplets in private rooms. The night shift runs 18:45–07:15, with 36 guaranteed hours per week and required weekend coverage. No call shifts.
Unit Overview
Float Potential
Travelers may float as helping hands to Labor & Delivery and the NICU.
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license
- Prior Mother Baby / postpartum experience *(required — candidates without this experience will not be considered)*
- BLS and NRP certifications
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Experience managing Magnesium Sulfate patients post-delivery
- S.T.A.B.L.E. certification
Ideal Candidate
A collaborative, team-oriented nurse who enjoys mentoring and teaching — someone comfortable in a fast-paced postpartum environment where education of new parents is a core part of the role.
