MRI Technologist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility's Radiology department is seeking an MRI Technologist for night shifts. You'll perform imaging studies on a 1.5T GE MRI scanner, averaging approximately 30 scans per 24-hour period. In-house and online radiologists support the department.
Schedule
- 4 x 10-hour night shifts: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and every other Thursday
- Call responsibilities: Typically one night per week and one weekend per month
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
- Weekend and holiday commitment required
Required Qualifications
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Certified MRI Technologist – ARRT (MR)
- Previous experience on GE MRI systems
- IV administration skills
What to Expect
- Department-specific orientation provided
- No float responsibilities
- Dress code: Black pants, Royal Blue top
- Radiology Supervisor on staff
- Must be in-state for orientation week (first-day modules may be remote)
- Valid driver's license required; 60-mile radius
- Radiation badge provided by facility
Cancellation Policy
The hospital reserves the right to cancel up to 4 shifts per 13-week assignment.
