Med Surg Tele

RN – Medical/Surgical Telemetry | Rochester, NY | Night Shift | 13-Week Contract

This night shift MS/Tele travel position is based in Rochester, NY on a fast-paced acute care unit managing a general medical-surgical telemetry patient population. The unit requires strong cardiac monitoring skills and comfort with a higher-acuity, multi-patient assignment.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 4x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required, as needed
• Up to 10 days of pre-approved time off permitted
• Client may cancel up to three shifts during the 13-week contract

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start: November 2026
• First-time travelers welcome
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not eligible

Licensure & Certifications Required

• Active New York Single State RN license (must be in hand at submission; NY is not a Compact state)
• BLS, NIHSS

Clinical Skills Required

• Dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Rapid Response/Code team activation
• IV therapy, peripheral line care and management
• Blood product administration and heparin protocols
• Oxygen administration, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management
• Isolation precautions/PPE

Unit Details

• Minimum 1–2 years of acute care RN experience; must have worked acute care within the past 6 months
• Floating required within the med-surg skillset
• Scrubs: Any combination of navy blue and white
