Vascular Sonographer | Ultrasound | Sumter, SC

13-Week Contract | Days, 4×10-Hour Shifts (07:00–17:30)

The facility is seeking an experienced Vascular Sonographer for a 13-week travel assignment in Sumter, SC. This is a day-shift role with a consistent 4×10 schedule and no on-call requirements.

Certification Requirements:

• Dual certification (Vascular + Echo) is strongly preferred
• Single-modality candidates must hold Vascular certification — Echo-only candidates will not be considered
• BLS and National Certification required

Schedule & Coverage:

• Days: 07:00–17:30 | 4×10-hour shifts
• Rotating weekends every 4th weekend
• No call required
• 40-hour orientation

Clinical Scope:

• Expected daily study volume of approximately 9 studies per sonographer
• Patient population spans neonates through geriatrics, including adult outpatient and acute care settings
• Works alongside interdisciplinary support including Radiology, Respiratory Services, and Rapid Response Teams

Qualifications:

• Associate degree; graduate of a formal sonography program required
• Minimum 1 year of experience with the facility's electronic charting system
• Travel experience required
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions

• Float to other units or campuses may be required based on census needs; floats are limited to areas matching your demonstrated competencies
• Pre-assignment modules must be completed within 48 hours of receiving login credentials (up to 16 hours billable)
• Travelers must meet minimum distance requirements from the facility system's campuses to be eligible
