Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Charleston, WV

13-Week Travel Contract | Nights 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

This Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit cares for adult patients presenting with cardiac, vascular, surgical, and pulmonary conditions. The role requires strong telemetry monitoring skills and comfort managing a diverse, acutely ill med-surg population.

Shift & Schedule

• 3×12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekdays plus every other weekend required
• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Orientation held every other Thursday

Floating

• Float within scope may be required as needed

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year in Med-Surg Telemetry specialty
• Active WV or Compact RN license (pending license accepted at submission)
• BLS/BCLS and ACLS (American Heart Association)
• Minimum 2 Manager or Charge Nurse references from the past 2 years
• Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1–March 31); medical exemptions accepted with documented allergist or physician record
• COVID-19 vaccine not required

• Permanent address must be 100+ miles from the facility (75–99 miles considered case-by-case)
• Former permanent staff must have a 2-year gap before returning as a traveler
• RTO requests must be submitted at time of application and discussed with the manager during interview
