Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week contract on the night shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), working three 12-hour shifts per week with every-other-weekend coverage.
Unit Details
You'll care for patients with cardiac, vascular, surgical, and pulmonary conditions on a telemetry-monitored unit. The clinical environment includes post-operative recovery, cardiac management, and monitoring of complex medical cases. You may be floated to other units within your scope as staffing needs arise.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year in medical-surgical or telemetry specialty
- WV or Compact RN License (pending license acceptable at submission)
- BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Permanent address within 100 miles of the facility (75–99 miles reviewed case-by-case)
- Flu vaccine required during flu season (October 1 – March 31); medical exemptions only
- Two manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years
Schedule & Logistics
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Weekday nights with every-other-weekend requirement
- Orientation held every other Thursday
- Blocked schedule requests cannot be guaranteed

- No RTO restrictions
