Position Overview
Join the surgical team at a major teaching hospital in Huntington, WV, as a Certified Surgical Tech. You'll support a busy 18-operating-room surgical department performing orthopaedic and neurosurgical procedures in a short-term acute care setting.
Shift & Schedule
- 4 x 10-hour days: 07:00–17:00
- Weekend coverage: Minimum one weekend shift per month
- On-call: Yes; you'll pick up two call shifts per contract
- Contract duration: 17 weeks
- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week
- No facility float required
Required Qualifications
- CST (Certified Surgical Technologist) — West Virginia
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of orthopaedic and/or neurosurgical experience
- First-time travel candidates welcome
- Active WV surgical technologist license required to start (pending licenses accepted during application)
What to Expect
You'll work in a dynamic surgical environment supporting ortho and neuro cases. Green scrubs are provided. The facility uses an instrument tracking system for case documentation. Free parking is available for traveling clinicians.
How to Apply
