Ultrasound Technologist — Outpatient/Inpatient | Santa Rosa, CA

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with every other weekend (weekend shifts vary: approximately 11:30 AM–8:00 PM or 2:00 PM–10:30 PM)

This ultrasound position covers both inpatient and outpatient settings, serving a broad patient population ranging from neonates and infants through pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Clinical Scope

Sonographers in this role perform imaging across a wide range of abdominal and general applications, including:

• Abdominal aorta, liver, pancreas, spleen, and gallbladder/biliary tract
• Appendix and breast studies
• Pediatric abdomen and pelvis

Schedule Details

• Monday–Friday daytime shifts (8:30 AM–5:00 PM)
• Every other weekend required; weekend shift times may vary
• Must be available to commit to 3 of 5 designated holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront at the time of submittal

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience
• Active ARDMS certification and BLS required
• Valid compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are eligible at an adjusted rate
• 2 professional references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years required
• Willingness to float between inpatient and outpatient areas; float to nearby sister facilities may also be required
