Mammography Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Mammography Technologist to perform mammography procedures in accordance with established scope of practice and clinical standards. With increased patient volume and the addition of new surgical staff, multiple mammography rooms require staffing support.

Schedule

• 4 ten-hour day shifts per week
• No on-call duties
• 13-week contract

Key Responsibilities

• Perform mammography procedures according to facility policies and standards of care
• Conduct stereo and needle localization procedures (experience preferred)
• DEXA imaging experience is a plus

Requirements

• Active ARRT (R)(M) certification
• Minimum 2 years of current mammography experience
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association (card in hand before start date)
• Current flu vaccine required (no exemptions); required October 1 – April 1 for all travelers
• Permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility
• Colorado CAPS registration may be required (processing time: up to 2 weeks)
