Position Overview

The facility is seeking an Emergency Department nurse for a 13-week contract assignment in Asheville, NC.

Shift & Schedule

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (nights)
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• 1 FTE position

Role Description

You'll deliver fast-paced, direct patient care in a busy emergency department, managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels. Responsibilities include , patient assessment, medication administration, wound care, and collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to provide timely emergency care.

Requirements

• Current RN license (state of North Carolina)
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required (or willingness to obtain before start date)
• Emergency nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple patients
• Strong communication and clinical judgment skills

What to Expect

You'll work in a high-volume environment requiring flexibility, quick decision-making, and the ability to prioritize urgent patient needs. This role may include float responsibilities across the emergency department as needed. Weekend and holiday work is part of the schedule.
