Orthopedics – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility seeks an Orthopedics nurse for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a night shift role (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) with 36 guaranteed hours per week.
About the Role
You'll provide direct patient care on an orthopedic unit, supporting pre- and post-operative patients, managing pain and mobility protocols, and collaborating with the surgical and nursing teams. The facility maintains a busy orthopedic service with access to advanced surgical technologies and comprehensive trauma services.
What We're Looking For
- Current RN license (state-specific requirements apply)
- Orthopedic nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced environment
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
