Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract | Weatherford, TX

This 13-week night shift contract places you in a fast-paced Emergency Department managing a diverse acute patient population, including stroke, chest pain, and trauma cases. The facility serves as a primary stroke center and is chest pain accredited with 24/7 PCI capability for STEMI patients.

Shift Details

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Start date: September 28, 2026

Clinical Scope

• Standard emergency department procedures
• Stroke response and NIHSS assessment
• STEMI/chest pain management
• Trauma care

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active Texas RN License (temporary licenses not accepted)
• BLS, ACLS
• PALS or ENPC
• TNCC
• NIHSS certification

Minimum Qualifications

• At least 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience

Dress Code

• Scrubs: Royal Blue
• No artificial, gel, or next-gen nails
• Hair must be pulled back if shoulder length or longer
• Visible piercings limited to ears only
• Non-absorbent, slip-resistant footwear required; breathable mesh athletic shoes are not permitted

Float Policy

Floating to other units may be required as needed.
