Vascular Sonographer – 13-Week Contract
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced vascular sonographer to join the ultrasound department on a 13-week contract starting November 16, 2026. This is a direct-care role performing a full scope of vascular and abdominal imaging studies in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
- Weeknight on-call: 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM (as assigned)
- Weekends: Required availability
- Holiday call: Required
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Extra shifts: Available for pickup
Qualifications & Certifications
- ARDMS and RVT (vascular and abdomen registration) — required
- BLS — required
- Minimum 2 years ultrasound experience
- Minimum 2 years travel assignment experience
- GE equipment experience preferred
- Paracentesis, thoracentesis, biopsy, or drainage experience preferred
Clinical Scope
You'll perform comprehensive vascular and abdominal imaging including pelvic/transvaginal, renal and renal Dopplers, abdomen, first trimester pregnancy, testicular, carotid, and upper and lower extremity venous studies. You may also be called to float within the ultrasound department as needed.
