Emergency Department Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's Emergency Department is seeking a registered nurse for a 13-week contract. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment serving a diverse patient population with emergency and trauma care needs.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 1:00 PM – 1:00 AM (evening/night overlap)
- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
Clinical Environment
Requirements
- Active RN license
- BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications required
- TNCC (Trauma Nurse Core Course) required
- NIH Stroke certification required
What You'll Need
Strong assessment and critical-thinking skills in a high-volume trauma and acute care setting. Ability to work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, PCTs, and support staff. Flexibility and composure during emergencies are essential.
