Emergency Department RN — Cambridge, MA

12-Hour Evening Shifts | 13-Week Contract

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking experienced travel RNs for evening shift coverage in a fast-paced acute care environment.

Shift Details

• 12-hour evening shifts: 11:00 AM – 11:00 PM
• 3 shifts per week, 36 guaranteed hours
• Every other weekend required
• Every other major holiday required
• No block scheduling

Contract Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: November 16, 2026
• Scrub color: Any

Required Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (current or conditional); NURSYS verification report required, pulled within the past week, showing all licenses (past and present)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Prior travel nursing experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Flu vaccine required during flu season
• 2 recent Manager/Supervisor references in matching specialty
• Specialty-specific skills checklist

Submission Requirements

• Up-to-date resume documenting ED experience and travel history
• Driver's license with address matching submitted demographics
• All RTO requests must be submitted at time of application; RTO cannot be guaranteed after confirmation

This is a high-volume ED role requiring strong clinical judgment, adaptability, and independent practice skills. Candidates must be comfortable managing a broad acuity range without block scheduling flexibility.
