Emergency Department RN — Travel Contract

Greensboro, NC | Nights | 13 Weeks

This is an urgent opening in a combined Adult/Pediatric, non-trauma Emergency Department. The unit sees a broad patient population — adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and pediatrics — across a high-volume environment with robust interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, pharmacy, social services, and IV teams.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 3x12-hour shifts
• 36/48 rotating schedule considered
• Minimum 8 weekend shifts per contract; holidays as needed
• Float to other campus locations may be required

Required Certifications

• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS

Clinical Skills Required

• experience
• Blood product administration
• Central line care and management
• Phlebotomy and IV insertion/maintenance
• Continuous IV sedation and IV vasopressors
• Procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• CPAP/BiPAP management
• Ventilator care and ABG interpretation
• Dysrhythmia interpretation/EKG

Minimum Requirements

• 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
• First-time travelers welcome
• Active RN license must be in hand at time of submission
• EKG compliance exam required (2 attempts permitted)
• No candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility
• Requested time off must be submitted with the initial application
• Third-party education verification required

Start Date: October 26, 2026 (urgent — no flexibility on start)
