Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its medical-surgical telemetry unit. You will care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and telemetry oversight, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour rotating shifts: Day (7:00 AM–7:30 PM) and Night (7:00 PM–7:30 AM)
- Shifts may rotate as needed to meet operational demands; the facility will work to honor your preferred schedule when possible
- You must be available to work at least every other holiday
- 13-week contract
Float & Clinical Scope
You may float to other units within the facility to care for similar patient populations. You will perform ECG monitoring, administer medications, and support patients across the med-surg spectrum.
Required Qualifications
- 12 months of permanent, full-time experience in medical-surgical or telemetry nursing
- Permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active BLS (AHA or American Red Cross), ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- One professional reference (manager, charge nurse, supervisor, or director) from work within the past 12 months
Onboarding
During orientation, you will complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments. Both must be passed on your first or second attempt; a third attempt will result in contract cancellation.
