Operating Room Registered Nurse
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room and perioperative services. You'll deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care while maintaining the highest surgical nursing standards.
Shift & Contract Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Location: Lawton, OK
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a patient advocate and ensure adherence to surgical standards of nursing practice
- Conduct comprehensive head-to-toe assessments and ongoing reassessments
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans based on patient assessment and nursing diagnosis
- Assess and manage pain using appropriate techniques
- Collaborate with the surgical team (physicians, RNs, LPNs, NAs, and ancillary staff) to maintain professional nursing practice standards
- Provide age-specific care and interactions across pediatric, geriatric, and varied patient populations
- Demonstrate strong sterile technique, attention to detail, and commitment to teamwork
- Communicate effectively and prioritize workload across multiple assignments
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse program
- Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
