ICU Travel RN — Nights | Concord, NH
This ICU position offers 12-hour night shifts (7p–7a) on a 3x12 schedule with every-other-weekend commitment. The unit manages high-acuity patients requiring advanced hemodynamic support and critical care interventions.
Clinical Scope & Equipment
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with:
- Intra-aortic balloon pumps
- CRRT
- Impella support
- ICP monitoring
- Targeted temperature management (Arctic Sun/TTM)
- Rapid infusers
CVICU background is strongly preferred — please highlight cardiovascular ICU experience prominently on your resume.
Floating
Candidates must be comfortable floating beyond ICU holds, including to the ED, stepdown, and med-surg units (with modified assignments). Occasional float to a behavioral health unit is possible; comfort with this setting is required.
Requirements
- Active NH or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
- 2–3 years of ICU experience (candidates closer to 2 years must demonstrate strong independent practice and clinical versatility)
- No first-time travelers
- RN skills checklist matching ICU specialty
- RTO must be submitted with application
Contract Details
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7p–7a
- Schedule: Every other weekend
- Guaranteed hours: 36/week
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Local candidates (within 50 miles) are welcome
