Medical-Surgical Nurse (M/S RN) – Spinal Neuro Trauma

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical RN for a night shift assignment in a specialized unit serving spinal cord injury and neuro-trauma patients. You'll care for post-surgical patients including those with spinal injuries, gunshot wounds, quadriplegia, and paraplegia. This is a fast-paced, clinically demanding environment requiring strong assessment and critical thinking skills.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 weekly
• Start Date: November 16, 2026

Requirements

• Current RN license (Nursys verification required)
• Minimum 2 years of direct experience in medical-surgical or trauma nursing
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR systems used at the facility)
• Current certifications (ACLS required; additional specialty certifications a plus)
• No employment gaps greater than 60 days in work history
