Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Physical Therapist to lead the delivery of physical therapy services in a long-term care setting. You'll evaluate posture, gait, balance, coordination, and strength to develop individualized treatment plans that help patients regain mobility and independence.
Clinical Responsibilities
- Assess patients and identify areas of strength and weakness
- Design and implement treatment plans focused on functional independence
- Work with patients on activities such as transfers, standing from a chair, and stair climbing
- Ensure all services comply with local, state, and federal regulations and facility policies
Schedule & Details
- Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 8-hour days
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Hours: 35 guaranteed weekly hours
- Call/On-Call: None
- Weekends: None required
Requirements
- Valid, unrestricted Physical Therapist license in Missouri
- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience (required)
- Long-term care or rehabilitation experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of skilled nursing home regulations and long-term care guidelines
- Valid driver's license in Missouri
