Emergency Department – Medical-Surgical Nurse

Assignment Overview

Join the emergency department team handling border patients within your specialty. You'll work primarily at the facility's Decatur location, with potential float shifts to a nearby affiliated facility as needed (within a 15-mile radius). Your assignment location will be confirmed before each shift, allowing you to plan accordingly.

Schedule & Duration

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours)
• Contract: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 7, 2026

Key Requirements

• Current RN license (Medical-Surgical specialty)
• Willingness to float between facilities within your specialty as patient volume dictates
• All time off must be requested upfront
• Non-local travelers only (outside 50-mile radius)

What to Expect

You'll provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency setting, managing border cases and collaborating with an established ED team. Flexibility and strong communication are essential, as shift assignments and float locations are determined based on daily operational needs.
