Travel Nurse – Medical-Surgical
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a travel nurse for its medical-surgical unit to work the night shift. You'll care for ED border patients within your specialty, with the flexibility to float between facilities as needed within a 15-mile radius. The primary assignment location is Decatur, with potential float to nearby facilities based on patient census.
Shift Details
- Schedule: 3 nights per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: December 7, 2026
Key Expectations
- You will receive advance notice before each shift regarding your work location
- All time-off requests must be submitted upfront
- Float assignments are within your specialty and occur as needed to support patient care
- Candidate must be willing to work within the defined service area; no local travelers within 50-mile radius
Requirements
- Current RN license (valid in Georgia)
- Medical-surgical nursing experience
- Ability to work night shifts
- Flexibility to float between assignments
