Emergency Department – Medical-Surgical

Position Overview

Join the emergency department at the facility in Decatur, GA, where you'll care for medical-surgical patients presenting to the ED. This role focuses on managing border patients within your specialty area, with the flexibility to float between two nearby facilities as needed to meet census demands.

Shift Details

• Schedule: NOC, 3 × 12-hour shifts, 36 hours/week
• Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: December 7, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency department setting
• Manage medical-surgical patients within your scope of practice
• Float between facilities within a 15-mile radius as patient census requires (primary assignment at Decatur location)
• Receive advance notice of your work location prior to each shift

Requirements

• All time off must be requested and approved upfront
• Willingness to float between assigned facilities
• Current state licensure and certifications required for your specialty

Important Notes

• No local travelers within 50-mile radius of primary location
• Travel assignment candidates must relocate to the area
