CT Technologist – 13-Week Contract
Shift & Schedule
Friday, Saturday, Sunday; 3x12s (36 hrs/week). Schedules are established in 4-week increments. You must be available to work 1–2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays unless the unit is closed.
Position Overview
The facility's radiology department is seeking a CT Technologist to perform primarily CT imaging with occasional general radiography, depending on assigned shift and campus. You'll work across multiple campuses with a diverse patient population of all ages, including Level II trauma and stroke imaging cases.
Clinical Scope
- Operate GE CT equipment
- Perform contrast-enhanced studies using power injection injectors
- Work with Carestream portable radiographic equipment
- Handle all patient age groups
Required Qualifications
- Active Iowa radiology license
- ARRT (CT) certification
- Minimum 24 months current CT experience (hospital/medical center preferred)
- Minimum 12 months X-ray experience
- Proficiency with , radiographic equipment, and GE CT
- Experience with contrast administration
- BLS certification
- Valid driver's license
Preferred Qualifications
- Recent Level I trauma experience
- Recent stroke imaging experience
- Power injection contrast injector experience
