CT Technologist – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility seeks an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week contract in a fast-paced imaging department. You'll perform CT scanning on patients of all ages, including trauma and acute stroke cases.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: Monday–Thursday, 9:30 PM–7:00 AM (40 hours/week)
• Orientation dates: November 9 or November 16, 2026
• Float responsibility: You may be assigned to multiple campuses within the local system
• Holiday rotation: You must work 1–2 of 3 upcoming winter holidays, unless your unit is closed

Clinical Scope

• Operate GE CT scanners
• Perform power injection contrast studies
• Image all age groups
• Handle trauma (Levels I, II, III) and acute stroke cases

Required Qualifications

• ARRT (CT) certification
• Active Iowa radiology license (highly preferred; licensing candidates considered with 1–3 week turnaround)
• 24+ months current CT experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency with equipment
• Stroke imaging experience
• Trauma imaging experience
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC)
• Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications

• GE CT proficiency
• Power injection contrast injector experience
• Recent Level I or Level II trauma background
